PAX 2 Dry Herb Vaporizer Full Review
Category : Blog
Welcome to our website today we are going to review the PAX 2 dry herb vaporizer by Ploom. First things first, let me be blunt here, I wasn’t exactly the biggest fan of the original Pax! The spring-loaded mouthpiece was kind of problematic and I found it to be fairly difficult to maintain overall. With the release of the PAX Vaporizer 2 to that problem is a thing of the past! They’ve done away with the spring-loaded mouthpiece and made the entire unit smaller not only that but they’ve also increased the battery capacity which is great. If discretion is your goal it really doesn’t get much better than this. There were three things that struck me by surprise about the PAX 2 vaporizer straight out-of-the-box.
First thing is the size of this vaporizer. It’s absolutely tiny! The average hand will completely conceal it during use check this out! The second thing was the build quality. It just oozes luxury and it almost has kind of professional look to it.
It’s easily the most is discreet portable vaporizer available on the market today. In regards to vapor production it does produce a surprising amount for its size, however, if you’re after massive clouds it’s probably not the right unit for you. Once again, decreased vapor production is usually the price you have to pay for ultimate discretion like this. On the other hand, the vapor produced by the PAX 2 does taste extremely good which I definitely wasn’t expecting.
The PAX 2, much like the original, works best with a fully packed oven. Nowadays, though, there is a third-party component made by a company called new vape available called the “PAX Pusher” which I found to be a huge Savior when using this marijuana vaporizer. It essentially reduces the size of the oven and improves the heated coverage throughout the actual unit so that you can operate it with smaller amounts of marijuana in it.
The PAX 2 has four preset temperature profiles ranging from 182-215 degrees Celsius. It can be a little bit harsh on the third and fourth setting but this isn’t exactly surprising given how this unit it is as with most smaller portables.
I definitely would recommend using the PAX 2 for multiple smoke sessions daily and with that being said it has proven itself to be a lot more reliable with frequent use compared to the original version.
I’d say that one session per day or two should be fine. This unit will provide roughly five 10 minute sessions per charge which for the size is amazing! It can’t be used while being charged but the included magnetic dock is fairly small and it can be connected to any laptop or PC using a microUSB cable.
If you’re after a sneaky portable vape to use in public places the PAX 2 is without a doubt the best option available at the moment. It’s probably the smallest unit on the market and the build quality is nothing short of amazing. To top it all off the PAX 2 Dry Herb Vaporizer is covered by a stunning 10-year warranty!
